A South Carolina custom builder known for high-end coastal and modern craftsman homes.
The story
Hackett Homes is a South Carolina custom builder known for high-end coastal and modern craftsman designs. By 2024, their digital presence wasn't keeping pace with their reputation.
Traffic was inconsistent, ad spend lacked focus, and there was no reliable way to tell which leads actually turned into projects.
The challenge
Hackett's marketing had grown in fragments, attracting the wrong traffic. Campaigns with his previous agency generated clicks but not consultations, and there was no system connecting a click to a booked consultation, let alone a closed project.
For a builder whose jobs range from $100K additions to $1M new builds, a handful of the right leads matters more than a high volume of the wrong ones.

The work
Overview
Every month, we review the full funnel from click to consultation: campaign performance against cost per qualified lead, call and form data checked against JobTread to confirm which inquiries actually booked, and keyword and bid changes based on lead quality rather than raw volume.
Reporting traces leads through consultation, estimate, and close, so Cameron always has a clear read on where the pipeline stands.
Timeline
Built the foundation: a technical SEO audit with fixes across the site, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and call tracking to capture every touchpoint. UTM parameters went on every form, JobTread was connected for CRM alignment, and redirects were cleaned up to protect existing search rankings. For the first time, every lead had a source.
Targeted Google Search campaigns went live around high-intent keywords for new builds, remodels, and additions across Beaufort County, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island. Tightly themed ad groups, custom ad copy for each service line, and conversion-focused bidding, with negative keyword lists filtering out irrelevant traffic from day one.
Tracking shifted from counting leads to qualifying them. A qualified lead now means a booked consultation, not just a form fill. Monthly reporting traces each lead through consultation, estimate, and close, so Hackett can see which campaigns actually drive business, not just clicks.
